Pre contract operations are a vital part of any project as the individuals and teams from both client side and Affinity get to know each other. From the initial enquiry onwards, senior members of the Affinity team are available to answer questions and are happy to offer on-site, face-to-face consultations as part of the pre-contract process. Pre-contract discussions and negotiations can take a few days, a few months or even longer, depending on the size and complexity of the project.
A number of important elements have a first airing at the pre-contract stage. Project requirements and scope, price negotiations, timescales, project management methodology, key personnel and communication channels can all be put in place. Most importantly however, it is at this stage that mutual trust and an understanding of the client business and developer professionalism are developed and a true affinity is begun.
