We have a number of templates/blue prints and software applications that help make the project managment of our contracts very simple. All of these tools are an integral part of our service regardless of the size or scale of the project.
Tools & Techniques
Site Map:
Confirms the scope of the intended site – a key tool for defining the information architecture, listing the pages/content and site structure.
Wireframes & Elements Matrix:
Blue prints that define a page's content and functionality – used to flush out new requirements and questions that haven’t previously been considered.
Elements matrix facilitates full componentisation.
Combines the functional layout of the wireframes with the brand and other elements – visual cohesion.
Provides a visual display of the ‘end product’.
Use Cases:
Based on a number of different use cases:
- Confirms a specific ‘actor’ or ‘user group’ of the website
- Sets the pre-conditions
- Outlines the primary flow of events
- Outlines the alternative flow of events
- Sets the post-conditions
- Confirms any special requirements.
Tests the UI and work flow against the above and makes recommendations.
UX Design Templates:
Ensures that UX is a key component in the overall development process.
Captures core requirements of each user group and confirms the desired experience.
Affinity’s Web-Based ‘Project Dashboard’:
Developed specifically in response to the needs of our international client base.
Used across all projects and by all personnel (including client-side personnel).
Key source of information on the project with up to the minute status changes.
Includes the following:
- GANTT chart
- Key milestones/tasks
- Calendar views
- Discussion board
- Daily ‘to do’ lists and email reminders
- Project documentation (including PSD etc)
